We are pleased to introduce the most Accelerate System to up-grade your Woolpress which should increase Speed, is Quiet, will run on bad power and gives your press a new life.
Ask yourself:
Is your wool press slow?
Is your wool press noisy?
Do you have bad power on at your shed?
Burning motors out?
Tripping power?
Then you need the Woolpress Accelerator Module
FAQ:
One of the biggest issues behind circuit breaker trip outs and burnt out motors is that of low voltage. When low voltage is present, the current draw rises substantially putting pressure not only on shearing shed circuit breakers but motor windings also. Our new Woolpress Accelerator Module automatically regulates for low voltage and gives ultimate protection.
NO. The all new Woolpress Accelerator Module uses single phase input to a custom designed 3 phase electric motor.
YES. Retro-fit kits are available for most models of woolpress. Just tell us the make and model you wish to update and we can advise.
The new WAM will run as fast as the power supply in your shed. The WAM is a self correcting module that when the voltage increases and the temperature of the circuit, it will increase the speed. When you have low power and cold environment, the WAM will decrease speed. Hence it’s a self-governing system and won’t damage the electric motor. Your press will keep pressing in ever changing conditions.
NO. In fact both our hydraulic & electrical systems run significantly cooler than standard equipment again promoting increased component life & efficiency.
No – as it’s self governing.

YES. As long as you tell us which model woolpress you have, we will supply the brackets, bolts & all the hardware you need together with some instructions. Remember,we are only a call away should have any questions.
Approximately 4 hours. On average it will take around 4 hours to fit the new hydraulics and install the enclosure box & electric motor.
The stipulation is that the steady states voltage must be within the range 216 Volts to 253 Volts. It was formerly 240V -10%, + 6%, i.e. 226 to 254V. Your old Woolpress motor may not work under the new lower range of 216 volts now as was designed for a good 240 volt supply when it was made . The “WAM” kit can solve this issues as it can handle as low as 160 volts & your press will still press Woolpress to 204 kgs.
